The experience of being a Japanese high school student is never complete without experiencing love i

NTU JAC FOC 2014: Niko High School : Japanese Appreciation Club
Feeling a little nervous and excitement at the same time, all of us enrolled into a new environment: Niko High School. That was the start of all our new adventures and new friendships as we enroll into our respective classes : Shion, moreno Karasuno, Serin and Ishiyama. After some simple icebreaker games and amazing forfeits, we started building our class identity moreno through the construction of our class flag. The flag embraced each class s presence throughout the stay in Niko High School. We then had our first mouth-watering taste of Niko Koko excellent moreno Japanese bento which was OISHII DESU! By night fall, it was time for the dreaded official Entrance Examination! Rumours had it that the questions were inhumanely difficult. But through our wits and creativity, I am sure everyone did well in it, even for those unfortunate few who experienced the You got caught, minus half mark! . And so, after the crazy exam and the adrenaline rush of almost getting caught by the dumb invigilators , all of us head to the chalet where we had our good night sleep.
Now, as official students of Niko High School, what awaited us in the morning was Sports Day and the game we had to play was Baseball. Most of us had never played baseball before, but then again, that s precisely why we go to school, to learn new stuff! moreno But as usual, it came with a twist, it was Niko High School s very own Cosplay Baseball!
The experience of being a Japanese high school student is never complete without experiencing love in the air, you know, that sempai with the looks that makes you doki doki just by glancing at him. Yes, that special sempai you ve always wanted moreno to confess to. However, confessing is never an easy task and it requires lots of preparation beforehand. The preparation of making a gift (origami), honing your conversation skills, rehearsing the confession, beautifying yourself up and of course, the actual confession itself. While our sempai may have ended up partially moreno traumatized, the result in a confession was not everything, the process sure was a load of fun and memorable one too! Soon we reached that exciting time of the year where the students go for their annual school trip. This year it was to Kyoto. UNFORTUNATELY! We went missing in Kyoto and have to find our way back to the train station. Kyoto is huge but no worries, each game managed to lead you closer in finding and reaching Kyoto Station. Games of wits and communication put the team to the test to see if you and your team could reach the station within the shortest period of time. Using all their skills, everyone managed to reach Kyoto station and eventually back to Niko High School moreno safely and on time. Good job everyone! As another year passed, we moved onto the final year of our time at Niko High School. Bunkasai was around the corner and we needed money to fund our booths. We decided to participate in the all-time Japanese favourite game, Run For Money. To earn some cold hard cash, we ran for our lives, moreno away from the hunters whom know no limits, whose energy never seemed to deplete. Survive! For Bunkasai! was the only thing left in our minds as we run and hide from the ever fearsome hunters. Having gotten our hard earn cash from Run For Money, it was the long awaited bunkasai! Each of the classes had to plan their booth-take over strategy and obtain the most money. While the games at each booth were luck-based, winning the booth required more than just luck. It requires brains and guts. Some groups played offensive, while others played defensive, do you still remember what was your team s strategy? It was a very eventful day. As we all know, all good things must come to an end eventually. As seniors of Niko High School, it was time to graduate from this memorable journey in school. As we all don our Niko High School moreno shirt, we had our last dinner as a Niko High School student. As we edge closer moreno towards the end of this amazing school life, our principal presented every one of us with our graduation moreno certificate as we watched a montage that very well encapsulated all the key memories of our time in Niko High School. While it has been a short journey, wonderful memories were created, moreno and new bonds with friends were formed. We graduated with no regrets!
