It is so wonderful and inspiring more and more people are realizing the joy of spending a little extra time and energy analog to decorate cakes. Also in Norway decorated cakes increasingly with non-edible decorations, including jewelry and "bling". Personally, I have a goal that all of my cakes to be edible.
It is not always possible. Sometimes I need a toothpick to support, or floral wire to achieve the desired effect, but the goal is nevertheless always that everything on the cake must be edible. It was based on this goal that the idea of this cake appeared. I have seen so many beautiful cakes with non-edible jewelry, and thought that it must be possible to make edible jewelry too. Using royal icing, edible silver analog paint, edible glitter and edible pearls I made this brooch.
