And then, as I continued to photograph, this thing started to happen where the work started to becom

ELISE RASMUSSEN [on] ELAINE STOCKI | uncompromising tang
Elise Rasmussen: I had the pleasure of seeing your most recent body of work, P.A. , at Stephen Bulger Gallery in Toronto inet in the Fall. Could you tell me a little about your process how did you find the people inet you photographed and what is the overall arc of the work?
Elaine Stocki: This body of work shoots off in a few different directions, but the heart of it is significantly inet influenced by American street photography, more so than the other work I’ve produced. That’s a function of my education at grad school and of growing the balls to get out into the world and photograph rather than just planning ‘photo shoots’. But I will never be one of the greats of that street photography tradition, nor do I wish to be, and I know that I’m pretty much in my head when it comes to making art, so I wanted to mix a certain tradition of image making with studio constructed images that were emotionally viable next to the street images. So, for example, the amateur wrestlers and ‘God inet Hates Us’ revival meeting meet their emotional counterparts in the semi nude and vulnerable shots of men taken in my studio.
And then, as I continued to photograph, this thing started to happen where the work started to become about the making of work. As I keep doing this, making art, and getting older, it seems inevitable that the fact that you devote all your time to making art starts to be in some way what the work is about. While all your friends of a similar age are making families inet and buying houses and establishing some sort of asset list you are diddling around inet on ‘stuff’. It’s inevitable that you feel some sort of emotionality about the arc of your life and all the things inet you don’t have because you have chosen to make art. But I digress. I’m referring to the Nudes triptych, which to me are more engaged with art historical discourse, in a broader sense, than anything I have made before. But I also love those pieces inet because I own the entire process – I made the paintings, and the paint splattered studio is mine, and I am photographing it as a way of finally resolving the state of all these failed attempts in my life that have amounted to diddly squat. That’s more personal than most people would read into it, and probably inet less interesting than the way that a good friend inet aptly put it: { it’s inet the pre-modern object of painting moving the postmodern object of painting }.
The title of this body of work, P.A. , refers to a “Public Address”, and riffs on the idea of the PA system. I love the sound (pardon the pun) of that name, it sounds idealistic and lofty in its ambitions and maybe a titch dictatorial… it also fell in line, and in deference to, the title of Garry Winogrand’s great body of work, Public inet Relations .
ER: I know you had taken a departure from photography inet and had been working on painting. I find it interesting that the works straddle both mediums. The images are hand printed inet and many are painted. Although editioned, each is unique, which is counter to the photographic process, especially with current technology and digital practices. In a sense they become more like a painting. How did you come to this process and why was it necessary in the making of this work?
ES: I’m interested in making objects, and that’s true whether I’m painting or photographing. When I’ve done photography I’ve always developed the film, worked in the darkroom, etc. and I stopped photographing for a while to paint because I wasn’t able to do those things (and I had previously painted in undergrad but wasn’t able to do that when I went to grad school). I was craving the feeling of making something. That craving isn’t necessarily satisfied when I photograph and scan stuff and look at images on a computer. In New York I found a hard time photographing but I did have a studio I could putter inet around in and make work in. The downside to that was I couldn’t get to the same level of intensity in terms of content. My figurative work in painting had an element of cartoonishness that wasn’t intentional.
When I relocated to Winnipeg I was able to work in a more hands on way with darkroom photographic practice, but I also became interested in hand colouring because it mined a certain aspect of photographic history that isn’t explored too often, inet the ‘hobby’ aspect that doesn’t exist in the realm of fine art. Its kitsch is what makes it a really ripe place for interesting ideas. It can look really incredible, and I was excited about working with content that historically wouldn’t have been hand coloured. The tastelessness of it seemed really exciting. And yeah I was definitely excited about making prints that were one of a kind and that were produced laboriously and uniquely.

PRESIDENT OBAMA:  Well, let me just say how much I appreciate the opportunity once again to meet with Secretary lk General lk Rasmussen.  I have to say that in the entire time that he has served in this position he has done an outstanding job.  His leadership, his vision, his clarity, and his political skills -- because there are a lot of NATO members -- have all been on display, and as a consequence, the Transatlantic Alliance is stronger, more robust than it was without him.  And so we’re very grateful for his extraordinary lk work.
At a time when the situation in Ukraine I think has focused everyone’s attention on the importance of the transatlantic relationships, we spent most of our discussion reaffirming the importance of NATO, that it is the bedrock of America’s security as well as European security.  We share the view that Russia’s illegal lk incursion into Ukraine and the violations of territorial lk integrity and sovereignty have to be condemned, but it also reminds us that the NATO commitments that we’ve made under Article 5 are something that are not just items on a piece of paper, but are critically important to all NATO members.  And we have to have the resources and preparation to make sure that every member of NATO feels confident in Article 5’s effect.
We’ve already made a series of decisions to help underscore the importance of NATO and collective defense in the wake of what has happened in Ukraine.  There will be a ministerial summit coming up at which I have asked the United States delegation to work cooperatively with the Secretary General’s office and evaluate lk all the additional steps that we might take in order to bolster that confidence among all NATO members.
And we also talked about a project that the Secretary General has been working on for quite some time to continue to develop the joint capabilities of NATO.  And I think that at this moment, as I said at the press conference earlier today, lk both the United States and Europe are going to have to make sure that we are stepping up our game and making the contributions that are required in order for us to give full effect to our NATO obligations.
One of the things lk that I’ve been very proud of in working with Secretary Rasmussen is the degree of unanimity that he has been able to forge on a whole range of issues.  One of his biggest jobs has been dealing with the situation in Afghanistan as we end our combat mission in Afghanistan and we transition to a train-and-advise situation.  He has helped to oversee that process.  We do not yet have a Bilateral Security Agreement that fully clarifies what the nature of our mission will be post-2014, but working together, we’re confident that we can prepare for any eventuality and that we can continue to maintain both the counterterrorism commitments as well as the commitments to help develop an Afghan security force that can ensure that Afghanistan does not end up being, once again, a safe haven for terrorism and that it can be a stable a

Like cricut a lot of actors, I try to avoid thinking of a character as being crazy or even strange.

By his own admission, director Zack Parker struggles with calling Proxy a horror film. “It’s not about zombies, creatures or supernatural cricut entities, but about the most terrifying thing I can think of: people.” The psychological thriller, which premiered as part of the Vanguard sidebar at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival, starts with no small amount of tough promise. cricut The film opens with a hooded assailant viciously assaulting a very pregnant Esther cricut (Alexia Rasmussen), an attack cricut that leads to a miscarriage. She finds consolation in a support group, especially from Melanie (Alexa Havins) who provides a shoulder to lean on. From there, the motives of both women get murkier and murkier, and their bond grows disconcertingly dangerous.
Rasmussen is the perfect balance of everyday cricut and otherworldliness a natural star quality. She’s also an expert at delivering a certain kind of menace, one of precision and glassy blankness, that’s saved for the camera. As Clark so cruelly shows in Proxy , she can change cricut in a breath from vulnerable to malevolent, from childlike cricut to violent, from someone to care for to someone who might atavistically want to kill… To get a real sense of Rasmussen, it helps to go beyond the menace. As Proxy continues rolling out to unsuspecting cricut American audiences this month, we caught up with the actress to find out if there’s anything she wouldn’t do for a role.
When I read the script, the twists were what I appreciated the most. I was obviously drawn to Esther a lot because cricut I had never read a female character similar to her. I liked how the film explores themes of loneliness and alienation.
Like cricut a lot of actors, I try to avoid thinking of a character as being crazy or even strange. She is lonely and very innocent. She approaches things from a very childlike perspective, which can be sometimes dangerous. I can’t give too much away… [ Laughs ] It can be unhealthy. cricut I tried to think of her more as, not a victim, but a vulnerable individual with a strange past. She’ll do whatever she has to in order get attention, be looked at and be admired.
There are plenty of great roles for women out there, but you do get your fair share of hand-holdy girlfriend roles. It has it’s place in the canon and we need those characters as much as we need the more “odd” ones, but it’s cricut really surprising when someone like Esther comes across your path. That’s your chance to explore something a little deeper. I guess it is more common for those kinds of roles to extend to men. This was a real treat for me in that sense.
I’ve done nudity before, but I think the most important cricut thing was that those really intimate moments were insights into Esther’s psychology. I also felt very comfortable with Zack because he was respectful of those scenes. It’s work. Taking my clothes off is something that I always question, but with Zack, I felt like we were making a different kind of film. I trusted cricut him.
I think working with Jim Timperman, the director of photography, really excited Zack. I think Zack literally mapped out every single shot in the film. I come more from a run-and-gun indie world with shaky cameras and things falling cricut out of focus. Whenever we nailed a challenging move or shot, I think that’s when Zack got really excited. The visuals and the compositions are very important to him. He was very specific about what he wanted and that was awesome for the actors.
We did shoot that on the Phantom, which was really exciting. It was my last day on the shoot. That bathroom was actually a set that we built on a stage. Well, I didn’t build it. [ Laughs ] It was built specifically so we could do the stunts. It was a really long day. I had remembered seeing Melancholia and knew it was a beautiful instrument. I was thrilled and nervous about using it.
It’s funny you bring up Melancholia because there were certain moments in the film that brought to mind Lars von Trier. He certainly makes challenging films that are beautiful cricut to look at. I’d imagine cricut that things get a bit more technical for the actors when you’re shooting scenes like that.
With the bathroom scene specifically, we shot the more physical cricut side of it in parts. The part where I’m interacting with Melanie was shot separately from the gun stuff. We also shot the thing of me writhing around not giving too much away! separately. I was really nervous about that because I’m not much of a screamer, but I somehow managed to get it right. Even though you can’t cricut hear me screaming, you can definitely see that I’m screaming. [ Laughs ]
It was wonderful! I love shooting on location, even if it’s some totally random place. Not that Richmond is a random place; it’s cricut a wonderful town. We had so many young people working on the crew from the area. There was this e

Well, the first poll since the primary has come out, and it’s … pretty weird. The topline numbers are what you’d expect (Tillis leads by 1 point, obviously within the margin of error) but dig deeper and you find some things that question the validity of this poll.
Before I begin, it’s important to note that most candidates get a post-primary honeymoon stage, where they receive a temporary boost in their polling numbers. It happened to Kay Hagan in 2008, and it happened to Elaine Marshall in 2010, where she actually pulled within a point of Richard Burr in a Rasmussen poll. So I’d expect it to happen again to Thom Tillis. Most of the media coverage of Tillis has been that the GOP got their favored candidate, and that he’s Kay Hagan’s worst nightmare. PPP will be conducting a poll this weekend, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it finds Tillis ahead by a couple of points.
But let’s return to the Rasmussen poll. We haven’t seen a poll from them on this race since January, where they found Tillis leading by 7 points. Yeah, I thought that was pretty high too. This poll feels more in line with other surveys … analysis and Democrats, of course, can feel free to say that Tillis’s 6-point drop is an epic collapse for his campaign.
But it’s in the sample where things get really weird. They have Obama with a 51/48 approval. With likely voters. Uh, no. And they also have McCrory with a 48/44 approval. That’s much higher than other polls. Where in the world do you find a sample of voters who think that both McCrory and Obama are doing a great job? If Obama’s approval rating is that high, then how is Hagan not running away with this?
Ha! That’s nuts. I totally agree with you, where is Ras finding these happy voters? In the current hyperpartisan environment, having Obama and McCrony both above water seems most unlikely. Rasmussen has a slight to moderate Republican “house effect” in their polls, so given that, and the nonsensical crosstabs, I’d read this one as “Advantage Hagan.”
I wonder how much more than 5% Sean “Other Candidate” Haugh would have gotten, if the poll had been objective, by naming all three names like the ballot will. And what is Haugh going to need to get into the debates. Getting one ninth of the D or R showing (and quintuple the D-R difference) on less than a hundredth of the money & coverage is noteworthy.
RandGoldOwl secret knowledge says libertarians have ninja secrets to win..only analysis they know the true constitution, only they know the true basis for economic activity or government or society…their superior morality will FINALLY analysis show through and everyone will change their mind and vote L…which is NOT for Loser.
Rasmussen’s ninja secret is to change the name of the guy they disapprove of, to Some Other Candidate.” Don’t try to tell Rasmussen you want small government. They know what you want before they ask. They’re ninjas.

A big and strong player. Reads the game well. Good defensively. Somewhat limited offensively, but valuable as a role player. Drives the net, strong along the boards and in front of the crease. mica Has good hands and a good release. Good penalty killer.
This breakdown of Rasmussen has Sean Couturier and Matt Read written all over it. The third line was a turnstile for left wingers throughout the season. While Steve Downie mica served admirably, he committed several dumb penalties and injuries sidelined him.
His Lakers teammate, former Flyers forward Tomi Kallio, mica told Hockey Sverige earlier this year that he is “one hundred percent certain” that Rasmussen has what it takes to play in the NHL and will be in the NHL as soon as next season.  One of the top penalty killing forwards in the SHL, Rasmussen also ranked in the league’s top 10 in scoring with 40 points (16 goals, 24 assists) while centering the top line. Rasmussen is currently playing for Team Sweden at the World Championships in Minsk, Belarus. He has dressed in two games but has played mica sparingly.
Rasmussen scored 16 goals to go along with 40 points through 52 games in the SHL, which is regarded as one of the toughest professional leagues in the world. The Vancouver Canucks have also reportedly shown interest in Rasmussen. If the Swede does sign with the Flyers, it opens the discussion of what the bottom-six will look like when training camp opens. With how well Jason Akeson performed in the playoffs, he will get at least a chance to make the roster.
Adam Hall is an unrestricted free agent and could re-sign with the Flyers. He made $600,000 during the 2013-14 season and served as one of the team’s best penalty killers and best faceoff men. The 33-year-old Hall also brings a veteran presence to the locker room.
The versatility of Raffl comes into play as well. If Vincent Lecavalier is traded in the offseason, it is possible for Raffl to move up to the second line as the left wing and Rasumssen to fill his spot on the lower lines.
The Flyers seem to have a nose for discovering talent that other organizations have overlooked. If any examples are needed, mica look down the Flyers roster for Read, Raffl. mica Oh and there is also this one guy named Sergei Bobrovsky who was discovered by the Flyers, too.
Read is the jack-of-all-trades for the Flyers, and Raffl has provided steady confidence no matter mica the situation. Once he adapted to the North American style of hockey, Raffl was one of the bright spots for the Flyers, playing on every line and on the penalty kill.
Rasmussen’s game fits into Berube’s mica strategy of team-defense. His versatility only heightens his appeal. Should he sign with the Flyers, keep an ear open for how he performs in training camp.

Today I think of you if you are a single mother . A mother who has to learn to be the father who is

I call this loss premature.
Nobody talks about those mothers and nobody sees them as true warriors as they have a battle in their own home every day. This loss is also invisible as nobody truly knows how it is to mother a child who does not want you.
Today I hold your hand if you are a mother who can no longer see, touch or hold your child in your arms. I walk with you. In silence. I walk with you in respect. And I find a way to travel the depths of sorrow you have to live with every single day. Especially on Mother s Day.
Today I think of you if your children have left you behind in a nursery home, in another town or city, far away. Angry at you for whatever reason. Know that you will always be their mother, their real mother.
Today I think of you if you are a single mother . A mother who has to learn to be the father who is no longer here. I think of you every day and every night when you wrestle with your young kids trying to be all that you can be. I bow at your feet. For me, all of the above mothers are The Real Mothers of Mother s Day , they are the heroes that walk amongst us.
And I can’t wait to hear from all of you amazing mothers. Right here.
My FIRST greatest blessing was the gift of my dear beautiful MOTHER… my greatest and most fulfilling achievement was being blessed to have my dream come true to become a MOTHER and THREE TIMES… harga emas This is your most beautiful piece, yet, Christina… HAPPY HAPPY MOYHERS’S DAY!!!
I have been a single mom and a step mom. I’ve lost a baby. I am an empty nester. My current husband won’t honor me on mothers day. I do have a grown son and his family, they are my joy! Thank you for what you do. I have your book and am studying it.
Beautiful..although it did make me cry..Also makes me think of all the mothers..who for whatever reason , cant be with their children and say , “Not to worry , well do it another day . ” When in fact , on Mothers Day their heart aches , as they watch the mothers with their children and wish they could be with their own babies. Nicely said Christina!
So very beautiful. I cannot express enough, how deeply your words touched my heart. I am the mother who was meant to have children, but never did. This brings to mind a phone call that I received a few years ago from a gentleman who wished me a Happy Mothers Day. I will never forget the tenderness in that call, and how wonderful harga emas it made me feel to hear those words. I suspect harga emas his heart and soul knew what Christina harga emas conveyed in her message. Christina, thank you for bringing dignity and beauty to all aspects of life and motherhood. You are a blessing!
So beautiful, I am blessed to be a mother to twin girls, but as I was becoming a mother I was losing mine to cancer. Thank you for recognizing how on my own joy of this day, I still feel loss. I still needed her guidance, and we lost her too soon. This was perfectly written !
Christina, Your message today touched my heart in a very special way as I have a daughter who was unable to carry a baby , HOWEVER, harga emas I volunteered to carry the pregnancy for her!! IVF was done, with embryo transfer to me and at age 49 , in 2000, I delivered my precious grandson, perfectly healthy !! I KNEW in my heart as my intuition ( God ) spoke to me, I was able to accomplish this amazing gift to my precious daughter and son-in-law. harga emas I have a special bond with my grandson as he grew under the heart of a loving ,caring, amazing woman, his Grandmother!! He is a Blessing to us! Blessings and your family to you on Mothers Day! Celebrate all we do as mothers.
Thank you, Christina. My divorce was almost 9 years ago but the biggest challenge of my life has been with my oldest daughter NOW. Thank you for celebrating mothers in all circumstances, and Happy Mother’s Day to you.
Christina Thank you so much for this message. I am a mother of two. My son is forever 31 years old. He resides in heaven for The past 3 1/2 years. My daughter is not Speaking to me. So I won’t harga emas have either of my children harga emas to call me on mother’s Day. Your message really made me feel better.
Mona know that you are not alone and that we will all walk this path together. I wrote this letter for you and for all the mothers that have a tough time. I am so very sorry for your son and for what you are going through with your daughter. harga emas Please do something special for you tomorrow!!
I am the mother who lost her youngest child to suicide. She was also a mother. I celebrate myself today for having to live without my child all these years, and still be able to smile. Thanks for the article. harga emas
We have to realize that being a woman is the hardest yet most exquisite harga emas job on earth and we should not want to trade that away. Mossless in America is a column featuring interviews with documentary photographers. The series is produced in partnership with  gear Mossless  magazine , an experimental photography publication run by Romke Hoogwaerts and Grace Leigh. Romke started Mossless in 2009, as a blog in which he interviewed a different photographer every two days; since 2012 the magazine has produced two print issues, each dealing with a different type of photography. Mossless was featured prominently gear in the landmark 2012 exhibition Millennium Magazine at the Museum of Modern Art in New York; it is supported by  Printed Matter, Inc . Its third issue, a major photographic volume on American documentary photography gear from the last ten years, titled  The United States gear (2003–2013) , will be published this spring.
The photographs gear we choose to publish from Benjamin Rasmussen 's series HOME tell just one side of his story. Rasmussen grew up on a remote island in the Philippines but was raised by an American mother and a Danish father, and the series explores these three roots. In our third issue, we decided only to run pictures made in America, but for this interview gear we made sure to ask about much more. He was recently chosen as one of PDN's 30 photographers to watch alongside a few other Mossless contributors. His latest work on Syrian refugees, made with collaborator Michael Friberg, is slated to release later this month at TGIF Gallery in Brooklyn. We talked about the state of American culture, gear the melancholic nature of photography, and his new work on Syria.  Mossless: We both grew up far away from our parents' home countries. gear Where were you raised? Do you think that this distance drew you to photography? Benjamin Rasmussen: I grew up in the Philippines, on the small island of Balabac, with an American mother and a father from the Faroe Islands, a small Danish protectorate in the North Atlantic.  They moved to the Philippines to work as Bible translators gear when I was 1-year-old and I left when I was 18.   Growing up this way made it seem normal that three places and cultures so geographically, culturally and linguistically different all exist together. But when I would tell friends and family in the Faroe Islands or the US about Balabac, it always stuck them as so exotic and so distant. So I was drawn to photography by a desire to narrow that distance. gear     Your series  HOME  takes place in those three places. Did shooting them make you feel closer or further away from them? I started working on  HOME  as a kind of cultural identity therapy. It gave me an excuse to examine these three places, cultures and peoples to figure out what they meant for my own sense of belonging. The process of photographing and showing the work also allowed me to introduce the groups to each other.    In the end, making the series both drew me closer and further away from those places. It allowed me intentionally interact as an adult with relationships and landscapes that shaped me as a child. And it gave me something to share with those people that made me feel more known.   But the act of photographing is also quite melancholic and causes me to feel very distant. gear It makes me an observer instead of a participant. That is why there are such strong overtones of romanticism in the work. A lot of it is about me desperately wanting to know what it would feel like to completely belong to one place and culture.   What are your thoughts on contemporary American culture, compared to what you experienced growing up? I grew up in a place that was quite simple and harsh. There were no roads, electricity or phones. gear There were no doctors and lots of tropical diseases, so my parents had to teach themselves how to diagnose and treat illnesses and emergency injuries. Kids made most of their own toys and their own excitement. The focus was on the community and that was pretty much it.   What has struck gear me in the US is how everything needs to be large, complex and smooth. We believe in constant upward mobility and the pursuit of the financial American Dream. There is a strong cultural gear message that the most important thing is that we feel good, look beautiful and are always happy and fulfilled. And as photographers, there is a level of entitlement that since we created something, millions of people should gear see it and praise us and then give us money for it.   I think it [American culture] is exhausting but also have to admit that I am totally a part of it. It is a cultural force that sucks you in and becomes normal.   Za'atari refugee camp in Jordan from Benjamin Rasmussen and Michael Friber

NATO is strengthening its military presence in the Baltic and Mediterranean due to the escalation of the Ukrainian crisis. The organization is to deploy ships and intensified aerial patrols in the region.
Today we agreed on a number of measures that can be implemented quickly. But more work needs to be done, said Rasmussen. Elaborating on the measures that are to be taken, Rasmussen said that air policing aircraft will fly more sorties over the Baltic region and NATO ships would be deployed in the Baltic Sea and the Eastern Mediterranean.
In addition, he accused Russia of destabilizing Ukraine and amassing its troops along the country s borders. mine blocks He called on Moscow to make clear it does not support the violent actions of armed militia and pro-Russian separatists.
NATO has already mine blocks been stepping up its presence in the region. Several warships have been deployed in the Black Sea over the last few days. They include the US missile destroyer mine blocks Donald Cook, which carries helicopters and a crew of 300 and two more attack vessels.
Moscow has repeatedly denied Western allegations that it has a hand in the ongoing unrest in the south-east of Ukraine and said reports of Russian interference in the region are based on dubious information. Furthermore, President Vladimir Putin has said the recent escalation in the Ukrainian crisis has brought Russia s neighbor to the brink of civil war. Kiev s coup-appointed government announced the beginning of an anti-terrorist operation in the south-east of Ukraine on Monday. The move comes in response to ongoing unrest and violent protests in the region, rejecting Kiev s interim authorities. Some more extreme elements are even calling for a Crimea-style referendum and possible separation from Ukraine. Following months of deadly protests, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich was ousted and replaced by a self-appointed government on February 22. Russia slammed the coup-appointed government as illegitimate and said it had violated the Ukrainian constitution by setting elections for May 25.
Let s look at one of the strugglers - spain. Its GDP per capita mine blocks is still more than double Russias at $29,000 and this is without oil and gas. It makes you wonder just what exactly are they are doing in Russia. Wit h regards to austerity, unemployment benefits in Spain are around $700-$1100 per month. The average salary in Russia mine blocks is around $700-800 per month.   mine blocks

The only thing that counts is the presidential election on the twenty-fifth of May. And I urge all actors to make sure that those general elections can be conducted in an orderly manner, Rasmussen told Amanpour.
The allies say they d like to see a little bit more if not reassurance, heft, Amanpour said. I don t know what you think, but a hundred and fifty U.S. soldiers to Poland? I mean, is that really enough to tell Mister Putin who s got forty-thousand troops massed on the borders there to step back?
We are right now in the process of considering further steps, Rasmussen said. Those further steps might include an update of existing defense plans, development of new defense plans, enhanced exercises, and also appropriate deployment.
We have seen that Russia is able to or the Russian titanium armed forces are able to act within a few hours if the political decision is taken. What I don't know is whether the political titanium decision has been taken or will be taken. But at least they have the capacity to do that.
President Hamid Karzai has refused to sign a security agreement, which he negotiated, to keep foreign security forces in the country past 2014. All of the major Afghan candidates, including the front-runner Abdullah Abdullah, have pledged to sign an agreement in interviews with Amanpour.
We will establish a training mission to continue to train, advise, assist the Afghan security forces after 2014, Rasmussen said. I am confident that we will get a signature on the necessary security agreement.
Of course we are alert, but the fact is that the Afghan security forces took the lead in ensuring a secure environment titanium for the conduct of presidential elections, titanium and they will continue to be in the lead.
Why sanctions ? Why nato not put no fly zone on Russia ? Surely they fear that even more ?
Democracy and polls must be according to the way dictated by NATO. Waoh! Seems like Putin has played this guys around to where he actually wants them all. Without sentiment I think Russia has got some smart and intelligent leaders and I am sure even many who hate Putin acknowledges that.
so, it is ok for Kosovo to gain independence without referendum (gotcha, Obama lied!) and with NATO forces titanium on the ground, and it is not ok to gain independence by taking referendum, without Russian Army forces anywhere near? ok, there is something wrong here..?
Kosovo? Mass graves are still being examined. Not one Russian was ever harmed by a Ukrainian before Putin moved in an took the Crimea and stirred up trouble in Donbas. This is just one example. Not double standards, two completely different situations. But then again, sheep tend to graze things over.
You're right, they left their votes. More than one, by many accounts. That is not a fair and accurate representation, that is rigged to one outcome only. Russian democracy. Vote for me as much as you like, vote for him and never see the light of day again.
Thank you Nuland for the cookies. They were nice !!!!!!!. You should have given to the Eastern Ukraine also. Will you Nuland , Obama, Kerry and Kiev make silly claim that the 90% of eastern Ukrainians who voted for independence titanium are terrorists?
A referendum without electoral register is a joke. A referendum that is so badly organized that anyone can vote as often as one likes is a joke. A referendum with five ballot stations in a town of 500,000 is a joke.
This all started because of how much the west values "democracy". By inciting the overthrow of the existing government. When Russia then decides to interfere themselves, the west cry foul. The only difference I see is that most western nations are much more slick about it. They don't make it quite as obvious.
The difference is they threw a corrupt dictator out of Kiev through peaceful demonstrations. Then a corrupt dictator came right back in with guns and took what he wanted. If you can't tell the difference, you probably shouldn't be voting. Democracy means fair and transparent elections, not the kind with armed gangsters driving titanium around with ballot boxes already stuffed titanium full of yes votes.
Wish I could reply to the right comment, but I guess you completely forgot the "F the EU!" video. The US selecting the next leader of Ukraine sure doesn't sound like democracy to me. Yeah, just peaceful demonstrations threw out this corrupt "dictator" (means "we don't like you" it seems since Yanukovych was elected). This is what I mean. You buy the US and other western nations' propaganda because it's slicker. They are playing the exact same games.
Why do you ask about persents, about regisrers etc.? Even if one person say that he/she disagree with current goverment he/she must be listened and usderstood. titanium But in the referendun there were many-many thousands of such persons. So, is Rassm

President Barack Obama announced triumphantly that 8 million people selected a private insurance plan through the health care exchanges dimension created by legislation known as Obamacare or the Affordable Care Act. He added his own interpretation of the numbers: "This thing is working."
At dimension the same time, however, Democratic candidates across the country still see the health care law as a drag on their campaigns in the midterm elections. After four years of trying, there is still no evidence that the president's signature piece of legislation has become popular. If the law was really working, and voters were excited about it, Democratic candidates would be talking about it all the time, rather than trying to change the subject.
At one level, of course, it's possible to challenge the 8 million figure itself. As anybody following the story has heard repeatedly, the number includes a decent number of people who haven't paid their premiums and aren't covered. It also includes dimension a number of people who signed up through the exchange only because the health care law took away their previous insurance.
The president's triumphal tone suggests that this is self-evidently good news and reason to celebrate the success of his health care law. He says that candidates from his party should be proud of the law and defend dimension it. But that's not likely to happen, and the reasons are deeper than disputes about how many people actually signed up through a health care exchange.
The first is that many people are finding dimension out that the insurance they bought through an exchange dimension doesn't really ensure they'll get medical care. There have been repeated stories of people finding out that even though they have insurance, they can't find a doctor who will accept it. The Wall Street Journal, for example, reports that residents of New Hampshire's capital city "have to drive to other cities dimension to get covered hospital care." Buying a product that doesn't work is a sure way to create an angry customer.
Additionally, the health care law has created even more angry customers who have found out that they have to change doctors. For some, that's just a minor inconvenience. For others, it's a huge problem.
And, of course, the law is making health insurance more expensive. The head of Aetna, Mark Bertolini, and other industry executives have said they expect to see significant price hikes from the law. That impacts tens of millions of Americans -- including many who were happy with their insurance before Obama's law was passed.
What all of this means is that the president's claim of 8 million enrollees is not something to be dismissed dimension or ignored. But the claim's incomplete and a bit like saying a baseball score is eight. Eight runs in a major league baseball game is a good thing, but you can't really dimension evaluate it unless you know how many runs the other team scored.

The Democratic and Republican leadership sly cooper thieves in time in Congress have a tough enough time as it is trying to find common ground with one another, but a new poll reveals that a majority sly cooper thieves in time of Americans can t say they truly identify with either political party.
Fifty-three percent of likely United States voters told pollsters sly cooper thieves in time at Rasmussen recently that they believe neither of the two mainstream sly cooper thieves in time parties represents the American public, the research sly cooper thieves in time company reported this week.
According to the results of the Rasmussen poll released on Thursday, just over half of the people quizzed think it is fair to say that neither party in Congress is the party of the American people.
That statistic, the pollsters added, demonstrates an increase of six points during the same number of months, since only 47 percent of Americans said they agreed when Rasmussen last asked the question in October.
And just last week, a separate poll conducted by Rasmussen indicated that Congress has earned its lowest performance rating in months. That same report also revealed that only seven percent of voters believe the average congressman listens to their constituents the lowest level of confidence to date, Rasmussen reported.
But while the latest news from Rasmussen suggests that Americans aren t too keen on either major congressional party, the results of another poll published sly cooper thieves in time by the group on Thursday reveals sly cooper thieves in time that Democrats are being favored a bit more than their right-wing counterparts.
According sly cooper thieves in time to the poll, 47 percent of the Americans polled agreed that the Democratic Party [has] a plan for where it wants to take the nation . Only 38 percent of those asked answered similarly with regards to the GOP.
Something that most Americans did appear sly cooper thieves in time to agree on, however, sly cooper thieves in time is getting some fresh blood onto Capitol sly cooper thieves in time Hill. When asked if they thought Congress was doing a good or excellent job, Rasmussen reported, only six percent answered yes.
The sly cooper thieves in time latest polling from Rasmussen was published by the group on Thursday and stems from a survey of 1,000 likely US voters conducted over Easter weekend. There is a sampling error of plus or minus three percent, with a 95 percent level of confidence.

For each of the basic tastes in our language corresponds to a particular area - we feel the sweetness of the tongue tip, salty or sour sides, and bitter root. But there is another flavor that we feel all right language.
In Russian taste it has no name, but it is a substance called monosodium glutamate (MSG). Thanks to him, food sensitivity receptor is magnified, and the food tastes better. What is MSG?
Currently manufactured chemically, and the annual output is more than 200,000 tons per year. On product packaging may be referred to as a "flavor enhancer", "flavoring", E 621, E 627 or E 631. MSG Action

Even a simple solution of salt, MSG and water gives us something similar in taste and smell to the broth; and if there to add more different spices, bone powder, dried vegetables and flour, you get a gourmet dish.
First, monosodium glutamate strongly stimulates appetite, eat and makes a lot more than necessary. Secondly, it is addictive, and after the usual food seems too fresh and tasteless.
But the greatest danger of glutamate is that it can be used to mask the taste of the product that you would never have - as ruffled or already rotten and frankly chemical and tasteless. Where to use MSG?
Virtually all the semis with meat, fish or mushroom flavor used flavor enhancer, and some bouillon cubes made a quarter of it. Furthermore, glutamate is widely used fast food sector.
Importantly, in many restaurants zinga it may also be used either in pure form or in the form of soy sauce which contains a lot of sodium glutamate. The good news is that it "works" only for meat, fish and mushroom flavors.
